What I missed…

… while sorting, discarding, recycling, packing, moving, cleaning, unpacking and getting organized in our new (temporary) home.

TWOOLS (June 4-7), the season finale from the Scapino Ballet “is no ordinary dance show but a high-speed choreographic roller-coaster, a dance festival in and for Rotterdam.”

Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati, 1958) was showing on the big screen at Lantaren Venster on June 7, followed by a screening of Mon Oncle on June 21.

The Poetry International Festival (June 14-19) featuring a master class with Robert Hass, the Itinerant Poetry Library, readings, interviews, translation events.

Open Day at the Floating Pavilion, an experiment in climate-proof building.

Now, how can I make up for this?

  1. Dreamy. Lovely. I wish I could have Glasper playing in the background all day while I am in the office. I’m sure I would be more productive. Happy Monday, world.

  2. We missed some really good “stuff”! … and got a sore back and a weary mind instead. Oh well, better make up for it … like the North Sea Jazz Festival?
